Bite Rush is a portfolio project, not a real business. It was built by Ajitabh Kumar Jha to show full-stack skills. No real food is prepared or delivered, and payments run in Razorpay test mode, so no real money is charged.

1. About this site

Bite Rush is a portfolio project by Ajitabh Kumar Jha, built to demonstrate a full-stack food ordering and table booking application. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Demo nature of the service

No real food is prepared, delivered or served, and no real table is held for you at any restaurant.
Online payments use Razorpay in test mode. No real money is charged, and test refunds are not real refunds.
The menu, prices, outlets and photos are for demonstration only.
The service may change, be reset, or be taken offline at any time without notice, and data may be deleted.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older. Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may not misuse the site, for example by attempting to break into it, overload it, scrape it, or use someone else's account.

4. Food orders

You can pay for an order online (Razorpay, test mode) or with cash on delivery. Delivery is offered only inside Vadodara (pincodes 390001 to 390025). The delivery details you enter must be real enough to describe where an order would go, but because this is a demo you may use made-up details. Order totals are shown before you confirm. Order status shown in the app is updated by the admin.

An online order is placed only after the payment succeeds. An unpaid order is dropped after 15 minutes.
Cancel within 30 seconds of paying and you get a full (100%) refund.
After 30 seconds you can still cancel until the kitchen starts preparing, and 25% is refunded.
If the restaurant cancels a paid order, you get a full refund.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. In test mode no real money moves.

5. Table bookings and deposit

Choosing a slot holds the table for 2 minutes while you pay. If the deposit is not paid in that time, the hold is released.
A deposit of Rs. 100 confirms the booking and is adjusted in your bill.
If you cancel at least 6 hours before the slot, the deposit is refunded in full. Between 2 and 6 hours before, 50% is refunded. Less than 2 hours before, nothing is refunded.
If the restaurant cancels, the deposit is refunded in full.
If a payment arrives after a hold has expired and the table is no longer free, the payment is refunded automatically.

Because payments are in test mode, these rules show how a real system would behave, and no real money moves.

6. Content and ownership

The code and design of this site belong to Ajitabh Kumar Jha. Some photos come from third-party sources and belong to their owners. You may not copy the site and present it as your own.

7. No warranty and limit of liability

The site is provided "as is", without any promise that it will be available, accurate or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this demo. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

8. Ending your access

We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing projectsaj13@gmail.com.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Vadodara, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
